Privacy Policy

The short version

PromptFort collects no data whatsoever. No analytics, no telemetry, no accounts, no servers of ours. Your prompts are stored in your browser's local extension storage and never leave your device.

What the extension stores, and where

• Your prompt library (titles, texts, tags, usage counts) is stored in your browser's local extension storage, on your device only.
• Your Pro license key (if you buy Pro) is stored locally on your device.

Permissions explained

• Storage: saves your prompt library and license state, as described above.
• Clipboard write: puts the prompt you clicked on your clipboard. Nothing is ever read from your clipboard.
• Alarms: periodically revalidates the Pro license.
• gumroad.com access: used exclusively to validate Pro license keys against Gumroad's public licensing API.

PromptFort does not read, access or modify the pages you visit. It has no content scripts and no host permissions beyond the Gumroad licensing endpoint.

Payments (PromptFort Pro)

Pro purchases are processed by Gumroad, which handles your email address and payment details under its own privacy policy. PromptFort itself never sees or stores your payment information. If you activate a Pro license, the extension sends only the license key you typed to Gumroad's API to confirm it is valid — nothing else.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
