Privacy Policy

FocusFort browser extension · Effective date: July 19, 2026

The short version

FocusFort collects no data whatsoever. No analytics, no telemetry, no accounts, no servers of ours. We cannot see your block list, your browsing, or anything else — by design.

What the extension stores, and where

• Your settings (block list, focus schedule, preferences) are stored in your browser's extension storage. If you are signed into your browser, the browser itself may sync them across your devices (Chrome Sync / Edge Sync). That sync happens between you and your browser vendor — FocusFort has no access to it.
• Focus statistics (a count of blocked page visits) are stored locally on your device only and never transmitted anywhere.

Permissions explained

• Access to sites: required so the extension can intercept navigation to sites you chose to block and show the local "blocked" page instead. FocusFort does not read or record page content.
• Storage: saves your settings, as described above.
• Alarms: powers focus-session timers and schedules.
• Active tab: lets the popup show the site you're currently on so you can block it with one click.

Payments (FocusFort Pro)

Pro purchases are processed by Gumroad, which handles your email address and payment details under its own privacy policy. FocusFort itself never sees or stores your payment information. If you activate a Pro license, the extension sends only the license key you typed to Gumroad's API to confirm it is valid — nothing else.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with an updated effective date.
